I first met Terri in 1988 when she scheduled a surgery for me at another Orthopaedic practice.  After a few years, I went to work there with her.  She was a great scheduler and I was her supervisor.  She was a feisty one for sure.  I later hired her at another orthopaedic practice as our surgery scheduler.  Her daughter, Heidi, asked her who would hire someone who was in their 60's and I immediately said, I would.  Terri was dedicated to her job and the patients loved her.  They were always bringing her presents, hugs and kisses.  She could juggle the schedules of five doctors with ease.  My family loved her as did I.  Twenty one years was not long enough to have known her.  We had many interesting conversations of politics, religion, family, where we wanted our ashes scattered, you name it.  I will miss those talks.  She was so supportive when my parents both died.  I don't think I will ever meet anyone like her again.  I am so happy she is at peace now and not suffering anymore.  Rest easy, my friend.  Arleen Cox

Terri, still can't believe your not with us.I remember on the way to Laughlin, you wanted to stop at Ludlow....and we did..we saw a old double wide....our winter home you said!!... you ripped into me when I needed it...and I respect you so much for that. Laughing till we cried, and Nicole was very saddened when I told her you were not with us anymore, and she said she hoped they have QVC in heaven. She said that the memories of sitting with you for hours watching with you will be with her forever. And I will always cherish the name you gave Greg and I ... "The Honeymooners"...and nothing has changed...it's been almost 20 years, and you said it wouldn't last!!! Till we meet again, I Love you. WHEN I MET BEBE BACK IN 1979, I DIDN'T JUST GAIN A FRIEND, BUT A FAMILY.  I HAD SISTERS IN BEBE AND HEIDI, A NEPHEW IN CHRIS, AND AS ALWAYS, WORKING ON THAT CHRISTMAS CHECK FROM BOP!  BUT TERI, YOU WERE ALWAYS THE SURROGATE MOTHER TO ALL.  I AS MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAD OUR LIVES  TOUCHED BY YOU WITH FANTASTIC MEMORIES.  GOING FOR WALKS WHILE WE BOTH LIVED IN CAPO BEACH, SHOPPING, GOING TO THE MOVIES, SITTING AT DIEDRICH COFFEE OFF GOLDEN LANTERN AND DEL AVION POINTING OUT THE OBVIOUS BOOB, NOSE OR FACE JOBS, OR JUST HANGING AT THE HOUSE IN SAN JUAN.  YOU ALWAYS HAD AN EAR FOR SYMPATHY AND ADVICE.  EVEN TOWARDS THE END, YOU WERE A TROOPER.  LETTING BEBE AND I HAUL YOU ALL OVER LOS ANGELES, EATING AT PINKS, AND STALKING STARS HOMES.  YOU NEVER GAVE UP.  I WILL ALWAYS CHERISH OUR YEARS TOGETHER, AND ALWAYS WISH FOR MORE.  MAY YOU ALWAYS KNOW HOW MUCH YOU WERE LOVED.  THE TEQUILA BELL YOU GAVE US WILL NOW RING IN YOUR MEMORY.  WE LOVE YOU!

My Friend Terri-----

I met Terri 37 years ago.   I had been recently widowed and needed a job, hopefully part time I thought.  When I arrived at a house in San Clemente I was directed to the garage that had been converted into an answering service. There was Terri Isch and it was the beginning of a long

friendship.  I had been a single Mother before my

2nd marriage and she was raising her 2 younger

daughters and single.  At that time we didn’t have much else in common but Terri was someone you couldn’t lose track of because she wouldn’t let you.

She always invited me to family gatherings and

lunch or dinner as if Julia Childs was going to

be the chef.  When it was Christmas, her favorite

time of the year, she cooked the dressing with

way she made the dressing, she would call

and let me know how awful it was.  She told me

to quit buying canned cranberry sauce and

get fresh cranberries and cook them myself.

I finally listened to her and I shall never buy

Ocean Spray again.

Terri was always correcting my English.  She

was very good with pronunciation and did not

hesitate to let me know if my English was not

up to par.

The years went by and she always loved the

fact that I was the older one.  Every year on

my birthday she would ask me how old I was.

After I moved to Hawaii she made sure that

and she used it to call me daily. Oh how I will miss those calls.  First thing out of her mouth,

“What are you doing?”  If I said I was going

some where she questioned “What are you wearing?”  As if anyone living in Hawaii cares

a whole lot about dressing up.

My friend was loyal and I will miss her very much.  Wherever I end up I hope she will be

there, if not perhaps she will have her cell phone handy and will be able to call me.

A hui hou  (see you soon) Terri,

Aloha, Shirlee
